I saw him in... wow, '94? '95? At the Elbo Room right after they changed it from "Amelia's." I got him to sign my Stetson hat. Bought all his albums. "Tan My Hide" is a pleasant earworm.
And DP is on this tribe. Girl, our musical tastes are exactly the same. Scary.

Fri, February 11, 2005 - 9:52 AMGlen is a very close friend of mine....met him in LA on a bus in 1980.....we hung around Hollywood-West and East and Silverlake back in the day!!!! also lived in a hooker hotel on the Strip for a couple months and a nasty-assed apartment bldg off Hollywood Blvd....we had good tymes,baby!!!!

Last I spoke with Jack (Curtis Dubowsky) he was in New York.
Anyone in Hollywood see Glen's last acoustic show at Vaginal Creme Davis' club? It was last week I think. I'm looking for a review of the show....

Alas, I don't have "Hot Horny Born Again." Hmm, have to dig out what I *DO* have and see what it is.
I run in to Jack every once in a while here in SF, but I know he's all over the place. I've known him since he was a young undergrad twink at UCLA.

We're looking for an acoustic opener for Glen's show at Catalayst Cocktails May 17th, so if anyone has ideas, let me know. :)
